The Action Plan for Changing Consumer Behaviour (Jan 2011) was published following work  the Greater Manchester Low Carbon Economic Area (LCEA) Domestic Retrofit Behaviour Change Group.  The report looks at  consumer behaviour can be influenced to reduce energy usage in the home and gives examples of successful activity that has taken place in consumer behavioural change,  highlighting the experience and knowledge of a range of practitioners in this field. The report also showcases projects undertaken in Greater Manchester, the UK and Europe as well as making  recommending action for policy makers and programme managers. It recognises that there is no single prescription for achieving behaviour change and that a range of interventions, dependant on context, are required to be considered.
