This November Dehems will be showcased at Europe’s biggest research event for information and communication technologies ICT 2008. Held in Lyon, France the biennial ICT Event (formerly called the “IST Event”) is the most important forum for discussing research and public policy in information and communication technologies at European level. The Event brings together researchers and innovators, policy and business decision-makers working in the field of digital technologies.

GreenShift Launch
The Green Shift Taskforce was launched on 19/09/08 featuring DEHEMS as an exemplar project. The launch attended by Phil Woolas MP Minister of State for Climate Change and Sir Richard Leese, Leader of Manchester City Council and took place in a local resident’s home, showcasing use of a first implementation of energy monitoring equipment. A report was included on the local BBC News programme, North West Tonight and is available on the BBC website.
