Current Cost energy meters on trial

Dehems will be running the first tests of it’s energy monitoring system using energy meters from Current Cost.  The Current Cost meter monitors energy use in real-time, and displays the information on a display panel. It can be installed easily and does not require additional wiring. Energy use is measured by placing a simple clip around the insulated power cable as it emerges from the meter box. The clip is connected to a small transmitter that sends a signal to the display box, telling home owners exactly how much electricity is being used at any given time. As well as viewing energy usage as it happens, the meter can connected to a computer to allow historic data to be viewed.
